Yes. Destino Nipón is an agency specializing in personalized trips to Japan, which means that each trip is designed from scratch for each client. We don't work with catalog packages or standard itineraries: each proposal is built based on who you are, how much time you have, what you want to experience, and how you like to travel.
Our tailor-made trips to Japan include complete day-by-day itinerary planning, judicious accommodation selection — from well-located city hotels to traditional ryokans with onsen —, internal transportation management and recommendations including high-speed trains, advice on alternative transportation such as car for rural or less accessible areas, and authentic dining experiences. If the client so wishes, we also work with specialized guides and tours from quality Japanese providers selected by us. What you will not find on our trips are massive low-quality excursions or generic platforms: we know each provider we recommend and have chosen it judiciously.

How much does a trip to Japan with Destino Nipón cost?
We don't have a fixed price because we don't offer the same trips to everyone. It depends on what you compare it to: if you compare it to a standard catalog, it's probably more expensive. Catalog agencies can offer you more competitive prices because they work with pre-packaged products, designed for thousands of people, and profit margins based on volume. We don't operate that way. If you compare it to what you get—a trip designed specifically for you, with carefully selected accommodations, no groups, and someone on the other end of the phone while you're in Japan—the answer changes.
What we can tell you is that our trips start from approximately €3,000 per person without flights for stays of 12-15 nights, and that the final price depends on the destinations, the type of accommodation and the experiences you choose.
What we never do is adjust the price downwards at the expense of quality. We prefer to design a shorter but well-done trip for you, rather than a long one full of commitments. And what we always guarantee is total honesty: if your budget doesn't fit what you want, we tell you before we start.
Does the price include flights?
No. International flights to Japan are not included in the listed price. Depending on the departure airport and the time of year, flights cost approximately between €800 and €1,500 per person. We help you find the best flight option, although you make the reservation directly.
Do I need a visa to travel to Japan?
If you have a Spanish passport and are traveling as a tourist, you don't need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months.
What currency should I use in Japan?
The official currency is the Japanese yen (JPY). You can bring some cash from Spain and supplement with cards like Revolut, which work very well there.
